lake district.

This is going to be a quickie because it is 11:30 and I am sleepy, but I thought I would fill you in on my week thus far. Monday we left for our coach trip to the North of England. The first night we spent in York. TONS of rain. Tuesday was filled with cathedrals. We spent the night at Durham Castle, I swear it was haunted. Today was the lake district. It is gorgeous here and I would die happy if I someday owned a cottage here. Tomorrow we hike up to Beatrix Potter's Hilltop Farm.
[I will go into more detail on everywhere we are exploring when I am back in London]

This place is BEAUTIFUL.

The Lakes District was about our favorite place in England. Chase served there for several months...so if you drive through Burrouh-In-Furness put your hand over your heart ! Haha. Have a great time at Beatrix Potter's home, and be sure and ask to see the actual little hole in the floor that Samuel Whiskers skampered in and out of! FUN gift shop, too! Lovely photo you posted here.
