let them eat CAKE.

As I'm sure you know I am extremely social and love to throw parties... which is why I have, yet again, changed my major to communications to eventually become and event planner. I am so excited about this!! Anyways, I convinced my roommates that we should throw a party. :) Just imagine a semi small apartment crammed with easily a hundred people and four cakes, three batches of brownies, two dozen cookies, a chocolate fountain with everything you can thing of to dip in it and there you have it! It was the funnest thing ever but such a mess to clean up later that night!

We all roasted marshmallows to made smores, made hot dogs and roasted starbursts which is the greatest thing I have ever tasted!

my not so little, little sister.

Around the end of spring semester Abby, who I nicknamed Wubbas years ago, came to visit me in Rexburg. We had loads of fun! The first two days it was just me and abs in my apartment so we had sister time, watched movies, had nap time, pampered ourselves, and made tons of desserts for a "social" that I threw for Abby on Sunday night. Then Monday she attended classes with me and Tuesday we took a road trip up to to Jackson Hole, WY. Before heading off though my roommate and infamous photographer from my blog Emily had us pose for her. It was one of the greatest times I have had with my little sis and I will never forget our fun weekend we shared in the burg. Here are some shots from our sister photoshoot.

I love my little sister :)

summer time.

The Summer is my favorite time of year. I love the heat. I love the water. I love trying my hardest to be tan. And now I love the little time that I have home between semesters. I know I have been terrible at writing and I have no excuse because I have been quite lazy the last few weeks. But here's a little about my pre-summer in Rexburg and my seven week break so far in lovely Turlock.

I finished up spring semester with a bang! It was by far my favorite semester yet! I probably played a little to much but I will have some amazing memories from those play days.

I had the greatest roomates I could have ever asked for this last semester! We all had so much fun playing dress up and having 2:00 p.m. pancake time every night for the last 2 weeks of school. I love them all!

Summer at home has been so much fun!
We spent some time up at the lake with the Gauthiers and Tilbys.

Our family took a day trip up to see our cousins Brad & Maylin and Ryan & Steph and their adorable kids in Folsom.

Abby, Ty, Call and I went on a spontaneous trip to Santa Cruz for the day! We ate Pizza my Heart, walked on the beach and made the boys hang out while Abs and I did a tiny bit of shopping downtown.

I reconnected with high school friends that I have only been able to talk to on the phone since we graduated because of my stay in Rexburg for winter semester.

This summer I have also been able to spend lots of time with my best friend Call-e-wog! Best friends since we were in diapers :)

I attended a Giants game with my best friend Megan for her birthday. Funny story is that we were caught on camera! My little sister got a phone call from Ty Hyer saying that the Hyer family had caught me red handed skipping church for a baseball game. I promise to never do it again because in my attendance of the game the Giants lost, big time. I blame myself.

My family along with the Gauthiers were all able go see the musical Wicked. I have been hearing the music from Wicked the whole summer as a result.

It's been an amazing summer so far and I can only guess that it will continue to get even better!

i sould have been born in the 30's.

This last weekend was one of the funnest I have had up here at BYU Idaho and it sure helped having an amazing roommate that loves to do random fun photoshoots. Emily woke me up around 7:00 on saturday morning... the only day I get throughout the week to sleep in as i have ward council at 8:00 every sunday morning, but who really wants to sleep in. Her first words to me were, "Today you are a pin up girl", and boy was I excited to play dress up! Rain and all is was an amazing day all topped off with SUSHI!

livin' on hawaiian time.

I am lucky enough to have amazing parents who fly me out to Hawaii with them for a week. We arrived in Maui on Saturday May, 16th and as we always do went shopping for the week and got a little pick me up at McDonalds. Then we checked into our hotel and the fun started. Our friends the Wilsons came with us this year and we had lots of fun with them. Our week included lots of laying out, hiking, exploring, snorkeling, and just enjoying eachother!
We took catamaran over to Lanai for some amazing snorkeling.

Downtown Lahaina, enjoying the beautiful sunset!

Exploring the Island with the fam!
I am so grateful to have such great parents that love to travel :) It was definatly the best excuse to miss school that I have ever given.
